I represent the interests of my clients in civil and criminal law matters, with particular areas of practice in
- Individual employment law (drafting of employment contracts and settlement agreements; representation in unfair dismissal proceedings),
- Succession law (planning and structuring of business and private estate succession; representation of heirs within ongoing estates in common and in the distribution of estates; questions of heir liability, estate administration, estate insolvency; assertion and defence of legacy claims; enforcement and defence of forced heirship and supplementary forced heirship claims; probate and heirship determination proceedings; matters of foundation law and inheritance/gift tax; executorship; asset distribution),
- Insolvency and restructuring law (restructuring advice in corporate distress situations; advice and representation of debtors and creditors), and
- Criminal defence (with particular expertise in insolvency, white-collar and tax-related criminal offences).
Legal fees are charged on the basis of the Lawyers' Remuneration Act (Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz, RVG) according to the value in dispute, or on the basis of a fee agreement (by way of a fixed fee, on a time-spent basis, or by reference to stages of proceedings).
